Chetan brings more than 20 years of experience across Vendor Management, Supplier Governance Frameworks, Client Relationship Management, Service Delivery, Project Management, Transition Frameworks, Process Automation, Cost Optimization, and other key areas of outsourcing to the table.
He has managed the implementation of Supplier Governance and Vendor Management framework for over 30 global clients. He has developed and maintained offshore supplier governance teams for a total contract value (TCV)exceeding US $11 billion involving more than 90 unique suppliers providing services from 121 countries.
Currently, Chetan is Co-founder &Managing Partner – Apothem Advisory. A company primarily focused on helping global clients build and implement robust supplier governance frameworks. The company also provides CTO and PMO services to SME clients in India. He is also the co-founder and author of Supplier Governance Blog – a platform for sharing knowledge and expertise.
Prior to Apothem Advisory, he was one of the founding team members of SirionLabs and served as Vice President.His responsibilities included providing domain expertise to develop supplier governance software and managed governance services team for clients. He was also responsible for alliance partnership, Centre of Excellence (including SME, PMO, and UAT) and Information Security.
Earlier, Chetan has worked at ISG (Formerly TPI) as Senior Director & Offshore Head – Governance Services Business. He was part of the global leadership team with the responsibility to establish managed governance services business. Before that, he was at Aditya Birla Minacs where he set up the Business Excellence Team (BET) and played a vital role in the acquisition of Minacs, a US$125 million deal between Transworks and Minacs. In his early days, he held key positions at vCustomer for HP Operations, and sales positions for Standard Chartered, Kotak Mahindra, and Tata Finance.
